Superstar Rajinikanth is joining forces with Sun Pictures for his 169th film. In the upcoming film called ‘Thalaivar 169’, the makers have already announced that the ‘Beast’ director Nelson will be directing the film. Now, we have some fantastic news about the movie’s cast and crew.

Thalaivar Rajinikanth’s fans are eagerly waiting for his next movie as it is almost six months since the release of ‘Annaathe’ and are excited to see him on the big screen again.
Rajinikanth has announced his next film with ‘Beast’ director Nelson Dilipkumar, and the film is tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 169’. Director KS Ravikumar, who delivered several blockbuster films, has worked with Rajinikanth in the movies ‘Padayappa’, ‘Muthu’, and ‘Lingaa’. The director has now been added as an additional script writer for ‘Thalaivar 169’ as the team aims to build a strong film to satisfy audiences of all generations. Ravikumar will be helping Nelson Dilipkumar in completing the final script and has reportedly begun his work.
Cast and Crew
According to the sources, Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar, Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ramya Krishnan, and Priyanka Mohan are said to be part of the film. Meanwhile, Anirudh Ravichander is confirmed to score music for the film. It is also reported that Sivakarthikeyan will be appearing in a special role.
The shooting for ‘Thalaivar 169’ is set to commence in August and is slated for release on Pongal 2023. It is said that Rajini has recommended that K.S. Ravikumar should come on board to work on the script and accordingly he is already a part of the project.
