After getting a massive response on appearing in Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2, Sanjay Dutt, the senior Bollywood actor has been approached to play the main antagonist in the Thalapathy Vijay starrer.

Thalapathy 67, the highly anticipated Vijay starrer is all set to be officially launched soon. Ever since Beast went downhill after a great start, fans are looking forward to his next film which is Vijay’s collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. And now as per the reports, Thalapathy 67 has got its antagonist.
According to rumors, Sanjay Dutt is highly impressed with the storyline of Thalapathy 67 and his characterization. However, the well-known Bollywood actor is yet to sign the contract.
Return of Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt received a lot of love from the audience for his character of Adheera in KGF Chapter 2. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has been breaking many box office records and turned out to be a huge success in the Hindi belts as well. While the KGF sequel is still going strong at the theaters, it looks like Adheera’s success might have triggered the makers of Thalapathy 67.
For those who don’t know, Thalapathy 67 will be helmed by director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh and Vijay had earlier collaborated for Master. The film was loved by most of the moviegoers and thus, there’s a lot of anticipation about Vijay’s 67th film. And now Baba reportedly considered playing a role, which is just a cherry on the cake.
While interacting with the media, Lokesh Kanagaraj had assured that he might reunite with Thalapathy Vijay, for the star’s 67th outing. However, Lokesh Kanagaraj said that it is too early to talk about the film, as nothing has been finalized yet. According to the filmmaker, the production house will officially announce the project once things are settled well.
