It’s been hardly a few days after a much-hyped wedding, and the Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Ali Bhatt are already back to work to meet his professional duties. However, an Ex IAF Pilot has criticized the duo for receiving the worthless limelight from Bollywood Media.
The duo’s post-wedding appearance
On Monday, the ‘Brahmāstra’ actor was spotted in Mumbai’s Andheri outside the T-Series office. He was seen wearing a checkered shirt over a white t-shirt, beige-colored pants, and sports shoes.
On the other hand, the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ star made her first public appearance after the wedding at the Mumbai airport. According to reports, the 29-year-old traveled for the next schedule of her upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The actress was sported in a pink Punjabi suit with floral prints and completed her look with a Christian Dior handbag.

But, her moderate look didn’t go down well with a section of netizens as they trolled her for ditching sindoor and mangalsutra for her first post-wedding look. While one user wrote, “Sindoor to h nhi Maang me kahe ki beautiful”, another commented, “Dulhan ki mehendi itni chotisi? Shadi ki ya sirf formality complete kar li.”
Twitter is not impressed
From being called a ‘drama’ to being accused of ‘trying too hard, things that the newlyweds got trolled for are dramatic. The duo was also trolled by a few netizens for being in the worthless limelight. A Twitter user who happens to be an Indian Air Force retired fighter pilot, wrote, “I was married on 18 June 99, in the middle of #Kargil Both @varshakukreti and I returned to work after couple of hours later Into thick of it.” The retired pilot referred to this with Ranbir and Alia receiving worthless media attention.
