Will Smith had recently made a headline for slapping Chris Rock onstage at the Oscars but it’s not the first time he’s done something like this in a public setting.
Smith smashing a reporter
Resurfaced video from 2012 shows Smith smashing a reporter in the face while promoting his movie Men in Black 3 in Moscow, Russia.
The reporter was a Ukrainian prankster Vitalii Sediuk who became notorious for his multiple incidents with celebrities.
The reporter who represented Ukrainian television channel 1+1 approached Smith on the red carpet, put his hand on the actor’s shoulder, and tried to kiss him.

The 53-year-old pushed him away and then slapped him lightly across the cheek with the back of his left hand. Smith appeared shocked by the journalist’s behavior. He asked, “What the hell is your problem, buddy?”
“Sorry. He kissed me on my mouth,” Smith said as he continued down the red carpet with cameras still recording. “The joker is lucky I didn’t sucker punch him,” he quipped. “I’m so sorry,” one of his shocked female handlers said. “No, no. It’s all good,” Smith said with a laugh as he moved along.
While Vitalli did apologize to Smith, he didn’t however learn his lesson and tried repeating that action on other celebrities as well. He did the same with Brad Pitt, to which the actor even got a restraining order against him.
