“The extremist agenda of the Modi govt is real”, Imran Khans slams PM Modi on Haridwar Hate speech

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has slammed PM Modi with two of his tweets. Khan has made the recent Haridwar Hate Speech conclave the center of his tweets and called out PM Narendra Modi for not speaking up against this so-called conference.

Addressing the International Community, Khan has written,
“continuing silence of Modi govt on the call at an extremist Hindutva summit in December for genocide of minorities in India, especially the 200 million Muslim community, begs the question whether the BJP govt supports this call.”

Further, he goes on to add that all the religious minorities in India have been targeted by the Right-wing Hindutva groups. He highlights that the agenda of the Modi Govt is extremist and is there in the open. He calls it a threat to peace in our religion.

The Hate Speech Conference

A few weeks back, this conference took place in Haridwar and was organized by the Hindutva leader Yati Narsinghanand. The conference particularly came to the limelight as open calls for the genocide of the Muslims were given.
“If you want to finish them off, then kill them… We need 100 soldiers who can kill 20 lakh of them to win this.” Annapurna Maa, the general Secretary of Hindu Mahasabha was heard saying.
Several such statements were heard and were widely opposed across the country.

Now a PIL has also been filed and will be taken up by the Supreme Court soon.
