CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has made it to the headlines yet again as he leads the poll-bound state of Uttar Pradesh. He has said that the upcoming Assembly election of Uttar Pradesh is a battle between the 80% and the 20%.
He has made this remark while he was speaking at an event organized by a news channel. He is heard saying in Hindi, “there should be no misunderstanding here. This election will be an 80 vs 20 battle and 80 percent of people will move ahead with positive energy and support the BJP and 20 percent have always opposed us and will continue to do so but BJP will definitely retain power”.
The same has been tweets by the BJP Uttar Pradesh Handle.
कोई गलतफहमी में ना रहे

CM Yogi further adds the confidence of the BJP in winning the election and taking forward the ideal of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
But this very statement or remark has been opposed by many people including the opposition and has called it communal in nature and an attempt to bring polarisation in the poll-bound state of Uttar Pradesh.
Brazen! The very first point of the Model Code of Conduct of @ECISVEEP is being flagrantly flouted. I've dealt with quite a few violations of MCC during my career but this one is appalling beyond words. I'm also shocked by equally weird responses. https://t.co/K62mEzIzo9 pic.twitter.com/rU6FOmV4Yk

UP elections will be about '80 per cent vs 20 per cent. 80% people who believe in the composite, inclusive, plural idea of India and UP vs 20% who have been blinded by the propaganda of hate. 80% people who want their govt to provide them with jobs and good life #Aayegi_Congress https://t.co/daKELT46ps

#CentralElectionCommission https://t.co/JOL8PqR0Hr— digvijaya singh (@digvijaya_28) January 10, 2022
Popular Congress Leader Digvijay Singh has been strongly opposed the same and has the Election Commission take strict action against Yogi Adityanath.
Yogi has also been in news earlier due to the same reasons while he used terms like “Abba Jaan” as a communal attack against the Muslims. He also called the rule of the ogi adiSamajwadi Party in UP as Nizam Rule which attracted severe criticism.
