Indeed! Our first chief of Defense Staff Gen Bipin Rawat was one of the bravest and intelligent officers of the Indian Army. Not because he died unexpectedly on a fine afternoon in a tragic way but due to his dedication and reformation he brought in the security and integrity of the Indian Armed forces. Many formidable achievements of defense forces in foreign soil were under his regime. Inclusion of new modern technologies and wellbeing of Indian welfare was his sole priority. Even his wife was a brave soul who dedicated her time and energy for the nation as a president of the Defence welfare association of wives of Indian soldiers. No doubt that the country is debited for their immaculate service to the nation.
