‘Those Engaged In liquor And Meat Should Take Up Selling Milk’, Says UP CM Yogi Adityanath

Mathura is a place which has a lot of historical importance and being always a pro hindu propagandist UP CM Yogi Adiyanath recently announced a ban on liquor and meat trading in the holi city of Mathura.

No Liquor, No Meat In Mathura

The chief minister was speaking at the Krishnotsav 2021 programme in Lucknow, where he imposed a complete ban on the sale of liquor and meat in Mathura.

He said; “The officers concerned are directed to make plans for the ban as well as for the engagement of people involved in such activities in some other trade. Every effort will be made to develop Brij Bhumi and there will be no dearth of funds for this. We are looking at a blend of modern technology and the cultural and spiritual heritage for the development of the region”.

He suggested that those engaged in liquor and meat trade may take up selling milk in order to revive the glory of Mathura, which was known for producing huge quantities of animal milk.

Yogi Praises Modi

The priest turned politician while suggesting his ideas for reviving the so called status of the city recalled Modi’s vision of Hindutva Bharat and urged people to make similar efforts in order to bring Mathura back to its glory. He also complimented Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving a new direction to the country.

Along with some other Cabinet ministers present at the meeting, Yogi made this announcement which eventually triggered some contradictory views from people, some praised the decision while some refused to accept the ideology for reviving Mathura. Well in the coming days it is going to be a huge decision as it would be certainly affecting lots of meat sellers and liquor store workers of the region.
