On Sunday, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has called for the growth of India in Shakti and Vyapti (power and scope) which would take the country ahead of China and thereby demanding the world to look at the country’s potential.
Speaking at the annual Vijayadashami rally of the RSS and addressing 50 swayamsevaks, he said India needs to be better prepared in military operations against China. He said,
“China was shocked at India’s response to its intrusion. India needs to grow bigger in power and scope than China. China encroached on our borders amid the pandemic. We intend to be friendly with everyone. This is our nature. But mistaking our benevolence for weakness and attempts to disintegrate or weaken us by sheer brute force is unacceptable. Our distractors must know this by now.”
‘We Should Not Fear Coronavirus’
In the address, he also addressed the Citizenship Amendment Act and said that it is not against any particular religious community. He also spoke about the pandemic and how it has overshadowed the communal fare in the minds of the people. He said,
“We need not fear coronavirus, but should be alert and cautious. We cannot stop living. Coronavirus is spreading but fatalities are less. Due to the pandemic, we have started learning the importance of hygiene, cleanliness, environment, family values all over again. Coronavirus has given rise to the challenges of unemployment. Many lost jobs and laborers are now returning to cities. But the jobs may not be there. The challenge is to create employment opportunities in different places.”
In the end, he spoke about the CAA, article 370, and appreciated the “patient” judgment on the Ram Temple issue.
