Your Forged Defense Will Not Work With NCB: Manjinder Sirsa Slams Karan Johar

Manijnder Singh Sirsa, who had filed a complaint with the NCB chief Rakesh Asthana last week over the alleged drug party hosted at Karan Johar’s residence in 2019 where several top actors were in attendance including Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor, Malaika Arora and several others, has reacted to Johar’s recent statement.

In his statement, Karan Johar had said that all allegations on him are false. Sirsa has reacted to the statement, by saying that the filmmaker’s ‘forged defence will not work’ now that NCB and not Mumbai Police is investigating the party video shared by him.

Asking KJo to be ready to face the music, Sirsa wrote, “The case is not with @MumbaiPolice anymore which was starstruck by you @karanjohar. It’s NCB handling the case now. Your forged defence will not work. Get ready to face the music.”

In his statement, Karan had mentioned that allegations of narcotics being consumed at a party hosted by him on July 28, 2019, at his residence are completely ‘false’ and ‘baseless’. He also stated that he has never consumed narcotics nor promotes or encourages consumption of any such substances. He added that malicious statements against him have unnecessarily subjected his family, colleagues ‘to hatred, contempt and ridicule’.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday picked up filmmaker Karan Johar’s right-hand Kshitij Ravi Prasad from his Versova residence after the agency conducted raids there. In a massive revelation, the NCB has confirmed that the Dharma Productions Executive Producer & Director bought huge amounts of drugs regularly, sources told Republic.

Marijuana and small amounts of weed have also been seized from Kshitij’s place during searches. He was seen being escorted by NCB officials from his residence and is currently on the way to NCB’s Ballad Pier Office.

The NCB officials have also revealed that so far Kshitij Ravi Prasad has not been detained or arrested. Since Kshitij Prasad was summoned for today, he accompanied the NCB to their office after the raids. However, they also confirmed that the Dharma Productions Executive Producer will be taken into custody after his interrogation.
