Mr Mukherjee said that he had an excellent relationship with PM Narendra Modi. He further said that PM Modi gave him respect despite of the political differences between the two leaders. He also mentioned that his leadership skills are top-notch and appreciated by most of the Indians.

He praised Modi and also said that majority governments are better than coalition governments which are a result of compromise. This was a huge blow to the people who said that majority to a political party is dangerous to the democracy of India.

Mr Mukherjee also said that he cannot criticise GST and demonetisation move by the Modi govt. This was not the first time when Rajdeep got bashed by an eminent personality. Prime Minister Modi had done similar task of decimating Rajdeep Sardesai years back.
