Alia Bhatt’s new film Sadak 2 has been receiving flak and has been in the conversation for all the wrong reasons. Now, the film has run itself into another controversy.
In a new controversy, the film’s song Ishq Kamaal has been accused of plagiarism. It has been allegedly copied from an old Pakistani song by the original composer from Pakistan, Shezan Saleem. Shezan who is also popularly called us JO-G took to twitter and shared a video that compares the original song with the Sadak 2 song Ishq Kamaal.
However, the composer of the film Suniljeet has denied the allegations and said that the song is his own original composition. He issued a statement which reads,
“Ishq Kamaal is my original composition and doesn’t share similarity with any other song. Everybody involved in making this song including singer Javed Ali has added his magic to the music. This is my debut as a music director and all I hope for is that people like the song when it comes out. Shalu Vaish and I have worked with all our heart to live up to the expectation of Sadak 2 music.”
Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and his daughter Alia Bhatt have been receiving backlash post the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. While Mahesh Bhatt was interrogated by the Mumbai police, there have been rumors of his close proximity with Rhea Chakraborty who has been a suspect in the abetment of suicide case.
Sadak 2 Most Disliked Trailer
After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, a section of Bollywood fans on Twitter had said that they would not watch a single film until justice for Sushant is delivered. Looks like they were serious about it. The netizens had boycotted the Janhvi Kapoor starrer Dharma Production film, the netizens have targeted the Alia Bhatt starrer Sadak 2.
The Sadak 2 trailer did not receive a warm welcome by the audience as people started to dislike the trailer and even reporting it. Within a few hours, the Sadak 2 trailer had garnered over 1.6 lakh dislikes and is being claimed as the most disliked video on YouTube.
