Over the last few days, media has been brim with news about Rhea Chakraborty and her alleged involvement in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. While the CBI investigation is on, Enforcement Directorate (ED) had recently summoned Rhea in a money-laundering case. To defend her, Rhea has hired the services of top lawyer Satish Maneshinde.
Rhea has hired Satish Maneshinde
Satish Maneshinde is one of the top lawyers in the circles. He was the one who had defended the likes of Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan in the past. Mr. Satish had also defended Chhota Rajan’s wife in the past. He is currently the Special Public Prosecutor for the Shiv Sena government in the Palghar Lynching case.
He holds command in the lawyers’ community, and as per reports, Mr. Satish charges a whopping amount of Rs. 10 lakhs per day for his services. Although this amount could lean a bit on either side, the fact that he charges a hefty paycheque cannot be denied.
How can Rhea hire him?
As per Rhea’s official income-tax records, Rhea earns close to Rs 10-14 lakhs per year. With this income, it is almost impossible to believe that she had hired a lawyer of Satish Maneshinde’s stature for her case. Either way, it seems that there is a crucial piece of logic is missing. It could be that Rhea’s IT records are not neat, or maybe, someone is helping her out to pay Mr. Satish. Well, these two arguments would not stand if Mr. Satish comes out and tells that he is working for free. All said and done, the case has reached a stage where there would be no coming back until the truth gets revealed.
