It has been almost two months since Sushant Singh Rajput left us, but ever since, hardly a day has gone by without the actor’s name not appearing in the media. At the moment, the case is at a crucial stage where several important details are getting divulged.
The team that the entire country is looking towards
A couple of days ago, after the incessant cry on social media and also the accusation by Sushant’s father and the Bihar Police, the case was finally handed to the CBI. Once the transfer happened, there has been interest across the country as to who would be taking up this case in CBI.
It seems as though CBI has put some of its best officers to handle the case. Gagandeep Gambhir, along with senior IPS officer Manjoj Shashidhar, Nupur Prasad and Anil Yadav will be the prime members of the team.

Gagandeep Gambhir – the perfect officer to handle the case
After the names of the team members were revealed, one name which caught the attention was Gagandeep Gambhir. An IPS officer of the 2004 batch, Gagandeep Gambhir basically hails from Bihar. She completed her education from Punjab University as a topper and later served an SSP (Senior Superintendent of Police) in Gujarat.
With the CBI since the last 18 months, Gagandeep Gambhir has the experience of being part of several big cases. Some of them include the sand mining case against former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the Srijan scam, and the money-laundering case against Upendra Rai, a journalist. She is also part of the team handling the Vijay Mallya case.
It has also been reported that a lady officer was necessary in this case, and hence, Gagandeep Gambhir was handpicked. Well, her credentials are exemplary, and we hope that she and her team become successful in solving the case at the earliest.
