In a major development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Health of Israel are looking to do lead an unprecedented operation in collaboration with India in the coming weeks.
Israel’s Embassy in India formally announced the operation. As a part of this operation, a special flight will take off from Tel Aviv towards New Delhi carrying Israel’s Minister of Defence R&D team. The team will be working closely with India’s chief scientist K VijayRaghavan. Both the teams will develop a rapid testing kit for COVID-19 which will give results in 30 seconds.
This is particularly done merging the Israeli technology and the Indian development capabilities that will allow the swift resumption of normal lives in both the countries. This will help the lives to co-exist alongside the virus.
The flight from Tel Aviv is also likely to bring breakthrough emerging technology of Israeli for combating the COVID-19. This has been donated by Israel’s MFA which will boost India’s response to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Both Countries To Mutually Help Each Other
Ever since the pandemic broke out, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu have been in touch through telephonic conversations. Throughout their interaction, they had promised mutual assistance in order to combat the virus and promised their commitment to joint technological and scientific research between the two countries.
The situation in India has been worsening day by day with over 45,000 cases being reported in the last 24 hours. The number of totals confirmed cases have crossed 12.5 lakh out of which only 4.3 lakh are active. Over 7.9 lakh people have been successfully recovered in the country. The total death toll has reached 30,000. While Delhi and Tamil Nadu are on the path to recovery, the situation in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh remains grim and scary.
