Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicidal death has left the Bollywood industry in a shell shock and in a dilemma about life and death. Moreover, his death has given a voice to many actors and directors to make a noise about all the nasty tricks, politics, bullying, trolling, and nepotism puppets in the Bollywood industry.

Yesterday, on June 21, Sonam shared several screenshots of the hate messages that she has been receiving from netizens.

The Tweet Fight Between Sonam Kapoor And Netizens

The actress responded to the troll brigade and wrote, “Today on Father’s Day i’d like to say one more thing, yes I’m my father’s daughter and yes I am here because of him and yes I’m privileged. That’s not an insult, my father has worked very hard to give me all of this. And it is my karma where I’m born and to whom I’m born. I’m proud. (sic).”

Sonam’s response didn’t go down well with the netizens. A fan commented on the post saying, “At least you confessed that your career is all because of your father not like Sushant. (sic).”

Another one wrote, “The problem is not about you being proud daughter of a respected man. The problem is lobbying in the industry, knowingly or unknowingly, where media plays a huge role as well and to some extent the audience too. We make poor choices sometimes and choose names over talent..sorry. (sic).”

One more fan wrote, “Privilege isn’t a bad thing but have u ever used ur privilege to uplift struggling artists? And we are talking about something worse! Nepotism and privileged elite-club crushing the dreams of a little town, hardworking actors w/o background by denying them projects & snatching it. (sic).”

Sharing the screenshots of the hate comments that she has been receiving, Sonam had earlier tweeted, “I encourage you guys to see my comment section. And I’m sure you don’t hope that the same comes your way. I hope your parents don’t have to see this sort of this stuff. (sic)”

The actress also wrote that she prays to God to forgive those who are sending her hate messages. She wrote, “Bullying, misguided vengeance, and the need to further your own agenda not caring about the collateral damage. This is all your karma. May god and the universe forgive you. (sic).”
