Filmmaker Abhinav Singh Kashyap, who is the brother of the celebrated director Anurag Kashyap, released a statement on his social media alleging that he was bullied by Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Salim Khan and sabotaged his career. Abhinav directed the Salman Khan blockbuster Dabangg.
Arbaaz Khan reacted to the allegations and said that he hasn’t spoken to Abhinav since 2012 before Dabangg 2 had released. He also said he will be taking legal action against the filmmaker. He said,
“In fact, we have already taken legal action even before this post; it was after his earlier post (when Abhinav spoke about having differences with Arbaaz and Salman and led him to step down from Dabangg franchise). We have had no communication with Abhinav since we started working on Dabangg 2. We parted ways professionally. Don’t know where all this coming from. We are taking legal action.”
Reacting to this, Salim Khan, the father of Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, spoke to Bombay Times and sarcastically said,
“Yeah, we have only ruined everything. You go watch his films first and then we’ll talk. Let him do whatever he wants, I am not going to waste time in reacting to what he says.”
Brother Anurag Kashyap Reacts
Abhinav’s father Anurag Kashyap reacted to his brother’s allegations and said,
“For the media calling me and people who want to ask, treat this as my statement. ‘More than two years ago, Abhinav had told me clearly to stay out of his business and it’s not my place to comment on anything he says or does.’ Thank you.”
Filmmaker, Abhinav Singh Kashyap who directed the super hit film Dabangg wrote a revealing post on Facebook where he accused Khan and his family to have sabotaged his career. He wrote,
“The reason I moved out of making Dabangg 2 ten years ago is that Arbaaz Khan in collusion with Sohail Khan and family were trying to take control of my career by bullying me. Arbaaz Khan sabotaged my second project. Mr. Salman Khan and his family sabotaged the release of the film and got their PROs to run a sustained negative smear campaign against me and my film Besharam before release.”
