During a debate with a journalist named Rubika Liyaquat on NRC and CAA, actress Swara Bhasker got herself into a soup becoming food for trolls on the Internet. She said she was 15 years old in 2010 when the journalist questioned her reasons to protest now and asked why didn’t she object when NPR was collected in 2010.

Back Story:
The Bollywood actress is in the news for speaking against the right ideologies and she has been opposing the Central Government’s recently passed CAA-NRC acts. The actress who was at the Hindustan Shikhar Samagam Event got into a heated argument with a senior journalist over various political things and did a blunder and goofed-up in regards to her age. Because of this, she made it to Twitter’s trend list for all the wrong reasons.
Over a debate, the actress was accused of not being aware of the facts and intentionally encourage the Muslim hatred towards the Indian Government. Further, the journalist presented her a printout of the CAA and urged her to go through it and educate herself before putting out her baseless opinion.
Irked by this, Swara went on to counter the journalist but ended up in a major blunder. When swara was asked about her activism from the last 15 years and she having absolutely no problem when NPR was collected in 2010, the 31-Year-Old actress said, “No, I am not running any activism for 15 years, I was 15-years-old in 2010”.

A video of this argument took no time to go viral on the Internet and netizens took their chance to troll the actress, who as per her Wikipedia page, was born in 1988 and is 31 years old now. A hashtag called #MathematicianSwara started trending on twitter and people mocked the actress for not knowing her age and some even questioned her math.
