The video getting viral comes at a time when former Pakistan cricketers Shoaib Akhtar and Danish Kaneria grasped headlines for some of their isolated events. In a game show, Akhtar claimed that there were many who did not want Kaneria (former Pakistan leg spinner) to be part of the Pakistan team because of his Hindu faith and said that some players even refused to shared food with Kaneria.

Following this comment, Kaneria said that whatever Shoaib Akhtar has spoken about the leg-spinner was true.
