Pakistan cricket team are on their edge of the World Cup campaign, one more loss and they will have to say adieu to the United Kingdom. Now it looks like when their performance in the cricket field fails, they make sure their performance with the mouth does the job. According to the sources, it is said that a former Pakistan cricketer has alleged the World Cup in England and Wales to be fixed.
A major allegation by Pakistani Ex-Cricketer
Former Pakistan cricketer and right-hand batsman Basit Ali has purported against the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup by calling it fixed. Additionally, he has also claimed that team India well deliberately lose matches against its Asian neighbors Srilanka and Bangladesh to make sure Pakistan disqualify from the tournament.
Without any explanation or logic behind his statements, he also alleged that Australia lost to India on a purpose. His false claims continued further as he recalled a 1992 World Cup match of Pakistan to be fixed and said the Kiwis lost to them knowingly.
A sports journalist from Pakistan posted the video on social media. In this video, we can clearly see the former Pakistani batsman Basit Ali alleging Indian cricket team, as he claims that they (India) will not want Pakistan to qualify for the semi-finals and may play poorly in their matches against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Let’s see how people reacted to his allegations
I think these guys are gone crazy for sure, how on earth will they want to face New Zealand or Australia rather than Pakistan in the semis, that too when all their momentum is gone

What Pakistan has to do to qualify
On the current scenario, Pakistan must win all their remaining games with the high run rate and will have to depend on teams like New Zealand and India to lose their remaining games. On the other side, both England and Sri Lanka should lose at least one more match and finish with a maximum of ten points.
On the other hand, India has won four out of the five matches it played and one was washed out due to rain. The men in Blue will have to win 2 games in their remaining matches to secure their spot in the semi-finals. As of now, they will meet West Indies on June 27( Today) at Old Trafford, Manchester where they previously defeated their arch-rival Pakistan by 89 runs (DLS) method.
