A provoked Pakistan cricket board (PCB) has registered a complaint to the ICC (International Cricket Council) about a television commercial(TVC) by the Indian broadcaster Star Sports which they have found it to be ‘objectional’. Star Sports had earlier released a TVC, an extension of the ‘Mauka Mauka’ advertisement, where the Indian fan terms himself as Pakistani fan’s ‘baap’.
Pakistani Cricket Board’s objection
The Pakistan Cricket Board, annoyed at the television commercial says that the content of the ad is not decent. However, this particular ad is an adjunct version of ‘Mauka Mauka’ advertisement which was quite popular and had gained great complimentary.
Waiting for the big day..that time of the World Cup when every Indian’s heart will skip a beat.

In the extension of the ‘mauka mauka’ ad, a Bangladeshi fan askes a Pakistani fan about Sunday’s clash. In reply, the Pakistani fan says that his ‘Abu’ (father) used to tell him that one should keep trying and suddenly an Indian fan says “Maine kab kahaa” (When did I tell you?).

Officials Remark
In the meantime, the ICC has had addressed the issue with the broadcasters and told them about PCB’s objections with regards the commercial. On the other hand, BCCI officials knowing this issue have stayed away as this doesn’t bother them.
“Yes, Ehsan Mani on behalf of PCB has intimated the ICC raising objection on the content of the TVC. I am not sure if Mani has written a letter or had a telephonic conversation but we have come to know that an objection has been raised,” a senior BCCI official said.
For the following match, India defeated Pakistan comfortably by 89 runs (DLS). Rohit Sharma’s brilliant Hundred led the foundation of Men in Blue’s victory. Since the match has already concluded but it seems the controversies are not looking to stop very soon.
