Sachin Tendulkar Replied Like A Boss For A Comparison Made with Rohit Sharma By ICC

Rohit Sharma earlier stoled the spot light in the high voltage match between India and Pakistan by scoring 140 runs off 113 balls taking India home by 89 runs(DLS). He was awarded as the ‘Man of the Match’ for his formidable performance with the bat. During the game, Rohit Sharma ended up hitting a six which was later compared by the ICC to the shot of Master Blaster in 2003. However, Sachin Tendulkar came up with a witty reply to the comparison from ICC (International Cricket Council) which was loved by everyone on the internet.

Rohit’s similar shot that of Sachin’s

India vice-captain and opening batsman Rohit Sharma on the second delivery of the 27th over, Hassan Ali bowled one short and wide outside off, Rohit swings the bat and hits a short over deep point for an elevated six. The most interesting about this shot was that it reminded everyone of Tendulkar’s iconic six against the bowl of Shoaib Akhtar during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003. Witnessing the same, ICC took to their Twitter handle to post videos of both the sixes and asked their users to pick the better out of the two.

Sachin’s Witty Reply

Replying to the ICC’s post, Sachin came up with a witty reply and said, “We both are from INDIA and in this case, AAMCHI MUMBAI as well….So heads I win, tails you lose!”

Both of them were given away the Man of the Match award. As Tendulkar scored 98 off 75 balls and starred in India’s chase of 274, and Rohit on other hand hit a magnificent 140 off 113 balls as India beat Pakistan by 89 runs to beat their arch-rivals for the seventh times.
