It is the sacrifice of Indian soldiers that we are able to enjoy a safe and stable life. In the wake of the latest rising tension between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama attack, India is riding high on patriotism. On February 14, around 40 CRPF jawans were killed in the Pulwama attack by Jaish-e-Mohammad.
But this is not the first time that Indian soldiers have laid their lives while protecting the country. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan lost his life while fighting the terrorists during the attack on Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai in 2008. Unnikrishnan was a National Security Guards (NSG) commando and his life story has now inspired filmmakers to make a biopic on him.
