Prithviraj
Prithviraj is an upcoming historical action drama film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a king from the Chahamana dynasty. The film stars Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar makes her Hindi film debut playing the role of Sanyogita. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari as other important characters.
Brahmastra
Brahmastra is a fantasy adventure film about the two most beautiful and young couples of the B- Town Alia and Ranbir Kapoor. The movie as said by the director Ayan Mukerjee is intended to serve as the first film in a planned trilogy. In an interview, it was said that the movie is a romantic fairytale in a supernatural format.
Laal Singh Chaddha
Laal Singh Chaddha is a forthcoming comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan and a screenplay written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. It is a remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name, the film stars Aamir Khan as the supposed character along with Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya.
Vikram Vedha
Vikram Vedha is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language neo-noir action-thriller film directed by Pushkar–Gayathri and produced by YNOT Studios and Plan C Studios. The film features Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Radhika Apte, in key roles. This film is a remake of the directors’ own 2017 Tamil film of the same name which starred Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, Shraddha Srinath, Kathir, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
Adipurush
Adipurush is an upcoming mythological film based on the epic Ramayana. The film is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. Interestingly, the film is shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. Made on a budget of Rs 500 crore (US$66 million), Adipurush is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
Pathaan
Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after five years is being highly awaited by his fans, and the announcement video of Pathaan certainly boosts their interest. The film’s director Siddharth Anand said that Pathaan has been designed as the biggest action spectacle in the Hindi film industry.
Shamshera
Shamshera is an upcoming action drama film directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor. A big-budget period drama based on dacoits, Shamshera will also be released simultaneously in IMAX and dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions.
Dhaakad
The movie starring Kangana Ranaut is a thriller and action film directed by Razneesh Ghai. The movie revolves around a field agent and her struggle to catch human and arms traffickers. Along with Kangana, Arjun Rampal, and Divya Dutt are performing lead roles. Interestingly, every movie star, especially Kangana, trained for 3 months to get the action training.
