Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Article 15 has hit the theatres on 28th June. Directed by Anubhav Saha, this movie is a crime drama film based on Article 15 Indian of the Indian Constitution that prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, caste, sex or place of birth. Ayushmann is in as Ayan Ranjan, an IPS Officer who has been newly posted to UP village. The story is based on a real event on the 2014 Badaun gang rape.
All about the movie
Article 15 is based on the gruesome Badaun rapes in Uttar Pradesh, where two girls were found hanging from the tree. Here, we are taken to the grim Lalgaon in UP, where people wear their caste on their sleeves. Police officer Ayan Ranjan (Ayushmann Khurrana) is a man who has “grown up in different countries”, and such matters are impossible to understand for him and has to solve a case.
If you are looking forward to watching this new release on the screens, then you should go through these tweets before you book your tickets.
Film is the mirror of society & this movie is based on social discrimination & inspired by heinous 2014 Badaun rape incident therefore through #Article15 movie message should be conveyed to the audience. @ayushmannk

#Article15 is gripping, amazing and @anubhavsinha direction excels, editing looks sharp and crisp. I loved the color grading of the movie and cinematography. Some shots are amazing and full of depth. A tight screenplay makes it worth watching. (1/2)

No matter how important your film subject it, it doesn’t matter what social message you deliver. A film only works when it has strong screenplay, Dialogues & substantial ENTERTAINMENT for the audience. #Article15 lacks all 3. Let see Media reviews work or audience word of mouth.

#Article15 is a extremely slow HARD HITTING film. Relevant content which is a reality in certain parts of India. @ayushmannk delivers a knock out act. @anubhavsinha direction is good & mature, film has minimal entertainment but displays a pertinent message.. Rating- ⭐️⭐️? (2.5)

Brahmins r d pillars of Hinduism. It was them who kept Hinduism alive from d perpetual assaults of Islamic & missionary vultures. They sacrificed themselves but didn't let d Hindu pride die.
Demeaning Brahmins is a well conceived conspiracy to demoralize Hindus. #Article15

I am a Brahmin & I support #Article15.. Bcoz for me, my Country stands way above my religion or caste..

I can't understand why some people doing protest against #Article15 and give it free publicity, while it would be flop on first day only. Director already manage some fake reviews in favour of his movie through PR. #Article15Review

#Article15 is a disturbing watch. Disturbing because it shows you the reality of our times. And reality is often disturbing, scary and haunting.
There is nothing new you don't already know but as @ayushmannk's character says we see and we forget.

Honest Review of #Article15 movie:
Anubhav Sinha tried to show an honest story but the first half was highly boring. Felt like leaving the hall.
Second half was better.
Not impressed with Ayushmann's acting abilities in this one. A wrong script for him.
