Salaar

The Prabhas starrer movie is an action thriller and it is simultaneously shot in both Kannada-Telugu language. Directed by Prashanth Neel and Produced by Vijay Kiragandur, after the success of K.G.F: Chapter 2, Salaar will be the next big thing in the Indian film Industry.

The Prabhas starrer will be released in 2023 in all 5 languages Kannada and Telugu along with dubbed versions of Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil. It is made under the production of Vjay’s home banner Hombale Films. The film has a budget of Rs 200 crore as of now.

Pushpa: The Rule

After the success of Pushpa: The Rise, the makers of the Allu Arjun starrer will go all out for its sequel film Pushpa: The Rule. Allu Arjun’s 2021 blockbuster film’s sequel will be hitting the cinemas in 2023.

Previously, the film was to hit the screens in Dec 2022 but now has been pushed back to 2023. Reportedly, after the success of KGF2, director Sukumar urges the makers to improve the fighting sequence and the story of the film.

Vikram

Vikram is an upcoming Tamil language action thriller film written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films. The film features an ensemble cast with Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles along with Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Antony Varghese, and Arjun Das in supporting roles. It is also rumored that Suriya will appear in a cameo role.

Vikram is scheduled to be released on 3 June 2022 and it has a rumored budget of Rs 110 Crore.

Project K

Yet again Pan India star Prabhas will be seen in the mega movie named Project K. Lauded as the “biggest film of Indian cinema,” Project K will be directed by Nag Ashwin. Apart from Prabhas, the film will also feature, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan in the leading roles. It is reported that the big-budget science fiction film recently completed its first few shots with the two Bollywood stars and the ‘Baahubali’ actor.

RC 15

The makers of Enthiran and 2.0, will now be collaborating with power star Ram Charan. As per the reports, the filming is currently ongoing, it is being produced by Dil Raju.

The film may release after the theatrical release of Shankar’s much-awaited Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan. The film also marks the first Pan India film of Kiara Ali Advani, who will be sharing the screen with Charan for the second time.

Indian 2

Kamal Haasan and director Shankar are coming together for Indian 2 after almost twenty-five years, which is a sequel to their 1996 blockbuster ‘Indian’. According to reports, the action-thriller is being shot in Tamil and will later get dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam. Also, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh are playing crucial roles in the film, and it’s being made on a lavish scale with a budget of around Rs 200 cr.

Liger

Liger is a Hindi and Telugu language film. Arjun Reddy star Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in the film as a Kick Boxer. The film will also feature Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy, and Ramya Krishnan. It will be released in both Hindi and Telugu languages along with its dubbed versions of Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

According to some reports, the film’s shooting is currently on. Initially, Janhvi Kapoor was picked by the makers for the film but due to her tight schedule, she was replaced by Ananya Panday. It is being helmed by the known south Indian director Puri Jagannadh.

Vikrant Rona

Sandalwood star Kiccha Sudeep will be next seen in Anup Bhandari’s directorial Vikrant Rona, which is also a screenplay written by the director himself. This big-ticket film is backed by Salman Khan, Shalini Jack Manju, and Alankar Pandian under the banner of Salman Khan Films, Zee Studios, and Kiccha Creations.

Interestingly, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez will also be seen playing a key role in the film. Cinematography and Editing have been carried out by William David and Ashik Kusugolli respectively. As per the rumors, the Budget of the Vikrant Rona is somewhere from Rs 50 crore to 100 crores.

Adipurush

Prabhas starrer Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. The Radhe Sham actor will be seen playing the character of Lord Rama on screen. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan has been roped in to play mighty Raavana and Sita Mata will be played by Kriti Sanon. It is reported that the film will be entirely shot in 3D and it’s going to be one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema.

Adipurush will be produced by Bhushan Kumar along with Krishan Kumar and Om Raut. Reportedly, film shooting has been completed, and further, after the completion of post-production work, it will be ready to hit the cinema theatres by December 2022.

Ponniyin Selvan: I

Mani Ratnam is one of the biggest names in the Tamil film industry, and he is coming up next with an epic drama, Ponniyin Selvan. Based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s novel of the same name, the Tamil movie, Ponniyin Selvan features ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram, Karthi, ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Trisha in the key roles. Ponniyin Selvan’s budget is said to be over Rs 500 cr, and it is lauded to be a visual treat for the audience.

777 Charlie

777 Charlie is an upcoming Kannada-language adventure comedy-drama film directed by Kiranraj K. It features Rakshit Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, and Raj B Shetty in major roles. The film is produced by Rakshit Shetty and GS Gupta under the banner of Paramvah Studios.
